Barclays Wealth head of strategy exits for consultancy firm

Barclays Wealth and Investment Management head of strategy and proposition Ruth Davis has left the firm to join management consultancy Anchura Partners.

RBS Markets head of strategy implementation Rash Phullar has also been appointed by Anchura alongside Davis.

Anchura confirmed that Davis and Phullar joined the firm in May and June 2014 respectively, with both taking on the role of client partners at the management consultancy.

During her four years at RBS Davis also worked as chief of staff to the head of UK and European operations at Barclays Wealth, Henry Fischel-Bock.

The departure of Fischel-Bock himself was announced just last month in a string of departures at Barclays Wealth which has also seen the resignation of the firm’s chief executive Peter Horrell in June 2014 as well as the departure of global head of investments and solutions Rory Tobin.

Phullar held his previous role at RBS Markets business for just over a year, having worked elsewhere within the bank’s investment banking arm for almost eight years
