Investors in the UK Select trust have voted to change the name of the closed-ended vehicle to reflect its takeover by Threadneedle.

The £35.5m investment trust’s mandate was taken over by Threadneedle in July 2012, having previously been managed by Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.

Now managed by Threadneedle head of UK equities Simon Brazier, the fund has been renamed Threadneedle UK Select following the annual general meeting held on 15 August.

The name change took effect yesterday.

FE Analytics show the trust has delivered a total return of 44.5 per cent since Brazier took over the portfolio on 31 July 2012.
