Anderson Strathern Asset Management, an Edinburgh-based wealth manager, has poached Scottish Widows Investment Partnership junior investment manager Neal Caldwell.

Caldwell, who is joining as investment manager, was at Swip since 2011, working with the firm’s fixed income team on both retail and institutional mandates.

Prior to this, Caldwell spent four years as a strategy analyst for Standard Life Investments’ multi-asset team.

Anderson Strathern Asset Management head of asset management Alec Stewart says: “We are delighted to welcome Neal to Anderson Strathern Asset Management. He brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, coupled with an excellent client-centric approach.

“His appointment demonstrates our commitment to the private client sector and reflects growing demand for our services.”
