Neuberger Berman has hired Jon Jonsson as senior portfolio manager for its global fixed income strategies.

Jonsson was most recently head of global aggregate strategies at JP Morgan Asset Management, where he worked for 15 years.

Since 2008, Jonsson had responsibility for $14bn (£9bn) in assets under management across relative return, total return and absolute return strategies at JPMAM.

Neuberger Berman head of EMEA and Latin America Dik van Lomwel says: “We are excited that world-class investment professionals continue to choose Neuberger Berman.

“Increasingly, client mandates have us creating fixed income portfolios that cut across the spectrum of the asset class. We welcome Jon’s insight into the process.”
