Two of Jupiter’s emerging Europe funds have been put under review by Morningstar OBSR after their manager left the asset management house.

Ingrid Kukuljan departed Jupiter on 31 July. She had been with the company for nine years and ran the £239m Jupiter Emerging European Opportunities fund alongside Elena Shaftan and Colin Croft, as well as the Luxembourg-domiciled £37.6m Jupiter New Europe fund.

Both funds are now under review, having previously held a Morningstar OBSR Analyst Rating of Silver.

Morningstar OBSR says: “Elena Shaftan remains as lead manager of the fund and she will continue to be supported by Colin Croft, who became co-manager in 2010.

“However, Morningstar OBSR believes former co-manager Ingrid Kukuljan was an integral member of the team and her forthcoming departure will be a loss. Morningstar OBSR has placed the fund Under Review while it assesses the impact of the team changes.”
