Fundweb understands John Anderson is set to depart the £213m JPM Sterling Corporate Bond fund, with JP Morgan Asset Management promoting portfolio manager Andreas Michalitsianos to be his replacement with immediate effect.

The move comes after the fund was recently placed under review.

Previously based in New York and working across both institutional and retail fixed income mandates, Michalitsianos has been with JP Morgan since 2002.

Reporting to head of investment grade credit Lisa Coleman, Michalitsianos is now based in London.

Coleman says: “Andreas is a highly skilled investor with a thorough knowledge of UK corporate credits, who will be leveraging a diligent investment process.

“In this capacity he will access the resources of a global team with six portfolio managers, 11 specialist credit analysts and two dedicated traders with extensive experience across UK and European credit markets.”
