Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management has appointed Jonathan Kent as head of financial intermediaries distribution for the UK and Ireland.
Kent previously held a sales role within the corporate banking and securities division of Deutsche Bank’s institutional client group, selling a range of investment products to asset managers, private banks and wealth managers in the UK and Ireland.
Before joining Deutsche Bank, Kent also held positions at JP Morgan, Robert Fleming & Co, and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Private Bank.
Reporting to global client group head of UK distribution David Morrow, Kent will oversee distribution to all key UK and Irish financial intermediary accounts in addition to private banks, asset managers, discretionary managers, wealth managers and multi-managers.
Morrow says: “With over 15 years of experience covering UK financial intermediaries, Jonathan brings a wealth of expertise to the team.
“Not only is he an expert on the market and regulatory environment, but he also has a great deal of experience selling the products that now form part of the Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management offering. We welcome him to the team and look forward to working with him.”
