Standard Life Investments is to rename 10 former Ignis funds as part of the integration of its recent business acquisition.
The funds will retain the word Ignis in their names but will all add ’Standard Life’ at the start.
For instance, the Ignis American Growth fund will become the Standard Life Ignis American Growth fund.
Other funds set to be renamed will be Ignis Balanced Growth, Ignis Corporate Bond, Ignis European Growth, Ignis Global Growth, Ignis High Income Bond, Ignis Pacific Growth, Ignis Smaller Companies, Ignis UK Equity Income and Ignis UK Property Feeder.
The name change is expected to be completed on 8 June. However, an SLI spokesperson said the name change could formally happen later in the month.
Nothing will change with management of the funds themselves or strategy, the spokesperson adds.
SLI has acquired Ignis Asset Management for £390m in March 2014.
Thanks to the acquisition, third party assets under management increased to £117.5bn in February 2015, from £89.8bn, according to SLI’s latest full-year results.
