Report puts US in economic lead

A report compiled by Barclays Wealth, in conjunction with the Economist Intelligence Unit, has found that America will lead the way in rising global wealth. Barclays expects America to continue to dominate as a base for the super-rich, with 19.5 million households with aggregate wealth in excess of $1m (510,000) in 2016. Britain is expected to have the highest proportion of households with aggregate wealth in excess of $1m of any G7 country within 10 years.
