Trust posts hike in value over 10 years

Lowland investment trust has announced figures to the end of September. The net asset value of the £307m Lowland investment trust increased by 166% over 10 years. This compares with a rise of 35% in the trust’s benchmark, the FTSE All-Share. The trust, launched in 1960 and managed by James Henderson at Henderson Global Investors, issued 2.15m new shares earlier this year. This increased the size of the company by £24.2m, according to the trust’s year-end results.
