Fidelity International has appointed Dominic Rossi, the former chief investment officer (CIO) of Gartmore.
Rossi joins Fidelity from Gartmore as CIO. He will report to Robert Higginbotham, chief executive officer and European president.
Rossi’s departure came in tandem with the surprise news that Gartmore star manager Roger Guy is to retire from day-to-day fund management. (article continues below)
Prior to joining Gartmore, Rossi worked at Threadneedle Asset Management, where he was responsible for Latin America and then global and international equities. He eventually became head of equities.
