HSBC reopens two alpha funds

HSBC Republic Investments has reopened Alpha AdvantEdge and Leveraged Alpha AdvantEdge, its global long-short products. Both vehicles were closed when their asset targets were exceeded in February 2004. The funds aim to achieve attractive performance and reduced volatility through investment in the AdvantEdge range of funds. Initial charges are up to 3%, with an annual fee of 0.15%. Minimum investments are $50,000 (27,000).
