Swiss & Global has launched an emerging markets inflation linked bond Ucits III fund, managed by Alessandro Ghidini and Bernhard Urech.
The Julius Baer Emerging Markets Inflation Linked Bond fund is a sub-fund of the Julius Baer Multibond fund, a Luxembourg-domiciled Sicav.
Equalling roughly 20% of outstanding inflation-linked bonds in the developed world, the asset class comprises of 10 emerging markets and their currencies. Those include Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Israel, Mexico, Korea, Poland, South Africa and Turkey. (article continues below)
The fund is benchmarked against the constrained, dollar-denominated Barclays Emerging Markets Government Inflation-Linked Bond index excluding Argentina and Colombia.
