Barings appoints head of Indian equities

Baring Asset Management has appointed Kommera Chakradhar Reddy from ABN Amro Mumbai as head of India equities, a new role at the group.

Reddy, previously chief investment officer at ABN Amro Mumbai, reports to James Syme, the head of global emerging markets at Barings.

Based in London, Reddy is responsible for managing the group’s exposure to Indian equities across its range of retail and institutional emerging market products.
