Franklin Templeton appoints India heads

Franklin Templeton Investments today announced senior management appointments in India and in Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA).

Vivek Kudva was named managing director, India and CEEMEA. He will provide strategic direction and leadership to the firm’s business in the regions, the company said in a press release. He will continue to be based in Mumbai.

Kudva previously served as the president, India for Franklin Templeton Investments.

Harshendu Bindal will take over as the president of the Indian asset management business. He will relocate to Mumbai and focus on developing the Indian business. Bindal was previously the senior director of CEEMEA.
