Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) has appointed Andrew November as director of equities.

Until Swip finds a replacement for November, he will continue to oversee the investment solutions team on an interim basis.

Meanwhile, Simon Wombwell, the director of sales and marketing, has resigned from his post to pursue other opportunities.

John Brett will take over as director of sales and marketing with immediate effect. Brett has been part of the executive team since joining Swip in 2003 as director of legal and risk.
