t1ps Investment Management has launched an Oeic investing in transferable securities, collective investment schemes, deposits and money market instruments.
The Elite t1ps Smaller Companies Income & Growth fund aims to provide a mixture of long-term capital growth and income. It will invest primarily in smaller companies with a market capitalisation of less than £300m listed on Aim, Plus or the main market.
In addition, the fund may invest in ordinary shares and the convertible loan stock of British smaller companies, including some unlisted positions. (article continues below)
The fund will be managed by small-cap specialist t1ps Investment Management, led by Tom Winnifrith, Robert Sutherland-Smith and James Faulkner.
It is structured as a non-Ucits retail scheme Oeic and was launched November 30. Its base currency is sterling.
The minimum investment for the fund is £500 and is exempt from capital gains tax.
