Schroders has soft-closed its Alternative Solutions Agriculture fund after it hit $3.3 billion (£1.7 billion) in assets under management. According to the firm, demand has been strong since last summer as investors sought alternative asset classes. The Luxembourg-domiciled fund, run by Rodolphe Roche, was launched in October 2006. Roche is supported on the portfolio by Robert Howell. Schroders gained British distributor status for the fund last year.
