The number one concern among investors when considering platforms is their financial security, according to research from Skandia.
The financial security of the platform provider rated as an important factor to consider among 87% of financial advisers. Of these, 77% went on to describe it as a ‘crucial consideration.’

Less important but still rating highly with advisers were the platform’s charging structure, the online support, available portfolio and fund review tools and the range of assets offered.
Only 21% thought ETFs were a must have and a mere 10% thought non-daily priced funds such as hedge funds are essential.
