New global green fund nets £49m

In the run-up to the September of launch of the onshore Schroder Global Climate Change fund, the group has announced that the international version of the fund has accumulated $100m (£49m) since its launch in June.

This represents growth of $35m since its initial public offering in Hong Kong, which raised $65m. The fund, managed by Simon Webber and Matthew Franklin, focuses on companies involved in tackling climate change. It is not constrained by an index benchmark.
