Andy Marks has joined MetLife Europe as its business development director.
In this newly created role he will be responsible for developing MetLife’s existing adviser network and creating new sales channels, which the group expects to emerge in the run up to the Retail Distribution Review (RDR). He will report to Dominic Grinstead, the UK managing director.
Marks was formerly the managing director of sales at the Hartford, which recently decided to close its British operations to new business.
Prior to joining the Hartford in 2007 he worked for Canada Life as a sales director, and has also held positions at Scottish Equitable, Axa and Allied Dunbar.
