Skandia Investment Group is adding Danske Capital, a division of Danske Bank, to its Skandia European Best Ideas Fund.
Danske Capital will take a €38m (£32m) mandate, with the objective of boosting fund performance.
Lee Freeman-Shor, the manager of the fund, allocates capital to its underlying European equity managers, currently Crispin Odey of Odey, James Inglis-Jones of Liontrust, Hugh Cuthbert of SVM, Raj Shant of BNY Mellon/Newton, Tobias Klein of First Private, James Buckley of Barings, Terrance Burnham of Acadian and Damien Laternier of Financiere de l’Echiquier. These managers will be joined by Henrik Husted-Knudsen of Danske Capital.
Since its launch nearly three years ago, the fund has outperformed the MSCI Europe Index by about 16 percentage points.
