Franklin Templeton has announced the departure of its UK country head Ian Wilkins, who will depart in December after 16 years at the asset manager.
In a statement announcing his departure, Franklin Templeton says Wilkins will “pursue other opportunities”.
Head of retail sales Alex Brotherston will report to the managing director of Emea, Vivek Kudva, in the interim.
The firm says it is looking “internally and externally for a replacement” and that the UK remains a “key market” and that it continues to invest strategically to grow the business in the country.
The firm has also announced the appointment of Michel Tulle, who has worked at Franklin Templeton for 21 years, to head up southern Europe and Benelux.
He will relocate from the firm’s office in Buenos Aires to Paris in January.
