Ex-M&G chief joins Neptune as distribution head departs

Former chief executive of M&G Investments Michael McLintock has been appointed a special adviser on strategy and distribution at Neptune Investment Management.

McLintock retired from M&G last year, when he was succeeded by Anne Richards.

His appointment comes as Charlie Parker departs for Sanlam UK following a restructuring of his role as head of distribution.

Neptune has confirmed it there is an “impending appointment” of a senior external salesperson who will take responsibility for key client relationships.

Neptune also partnered with LGBR last year to broaden its reach among the IFA community.

Parker remains a Neptune shareholder.

Robin Geffen, founder and CEO of Neptune Investment Management says: “Neptune has an exceptionally talented team ready to take on Charlie’s responsibilities and help clients access the very strong performance we have to offer across our fund range.

“We are currently investing in our client investment strategy team to further enhance our service.”
