European Wealth has nabbed a former Duncan Lawrie private banker and a Gibraltar-based portfolio manager for its London investment management team.
Andrew Harris, who was responsible for managing a book of high net worth clients at Duncan Lawrie Private Bank, will be responsible for business development and client management.
Martin Carey, who will be moving from Plurimi Wealth Solutions in Gibraltar, will be responsible for non resident portfolios and helping to develop the group’s Swiss business.
The pair join a wealth management team that looks after £1.6bn of client assets with a further £110m of new assets in the pipeline.
Harris had previously worked for Vestra Wealth and Barclays Wealth, as well as Butterfield Private Bank.
Carey has previously worked for Nordea, NatWest and Lloyds private banks. He says European Wealth has a “robust multiple jurisdictional platform with an institutional calibre investment process”.
