EQ Investors’ John Spiers hires former Bestinvest colleague

Business-Handshake-General-Hire-Appointment-700x450.jpgWealth manager boutique EQ Investors has appointed Mike Neumann as head of investment management.

Neuman joins the firm from Tilney Bestinvest where he was director of investment management.

In the new role, he will be responsible for the solution design, management and client delivery areas of the business.

In October last year, EQ Investors chief executive John Spiers, who founded Bestinvest, appointed former colleague Sally Collins to run the boutique wealth manager’s simplified advice service.

Commenting on Neuman’s appointment Spiers says: “Mike brings valuable know-how to EQ and an exceptional record of establishing strong relationships with clients. His investment knowledge and experience will be invaluable as we grow the EQ bespoke service.”

Neumann says: “I am excited to join this growing business and believe there are excellent opportunities to expand the EQ bespoke service. I’m champing at the bit to get started.”
