Crux Asset Management has hired Will Hamilton as head of its discretionary sales for London.

Hamilton joins from Henderson Global Investors, where the Crux European Special Situations fund was first launched by Richard Pease and James Milne.

At Henderson, Hamilton was responsible for core investors in the discretionary community, including global distributors, fund of funds, private banks, family offices and private client fund managers.

In his new role at Crux, Hamilton will report to distribution director Mark Little.

Before Henderson, Hamilton worked at New Star Asset Management, which Pease helped found in 2001.

Pease joined Henderson in 2009 before departing to establish Crux in 2014.
