Crispin Odey fund suffers €369m loss

The Odey European fund has suffered a €369m loss in the year to date, according to investor documents seen by Reuters.

The fund, managed by hedge funder Crispin Odey, held €837m in January, meaning its assets have dropped 44.1 per cent over the period.

A short position in Lancashire Holdings lost money as its stock rose 4.7 per cent in the first two weeks of November.

The fund also holds a long position in Sky, which fell 5.5 per cent over the period.
