Brooks Macdonald hires investment director from Charles Stanley

Mackie, who will be based in the firm’s Taunton office, will be part of the bespoke portfolio service team and will work for discretionary clients and advisers.

Before joining Brooks Macdonald, Mackie was portfolio manager at Charles Stanley but also sat in the firm’s investment strategy committee and structured product team.

Mackie also held roles at Barclays Wealth and Butterfield Private Bank.
