Brooks Macdonald hires from Quilter Cheviot for investment director

Brooks Macdonald has appointed Alex Ford to the role of investment director in its bespoke portfolio service team in London.

Ford joins from Quilter Cheviot and has previously worked at Barclays Wealth and Hartmann Capital, with a total of nine years investment management experience.

Nick Holmes, managing director of investment management at Brooks Macdonald, says: “[Ford’s] experience working closely with financial advisers will provide an important addition to our team as more and more professional advisers decide to outsource investment management activities to specialists like Brooks Macdonald.
