Bordier poaches sales manager Paul Kelly from Schroders

In his new role, Kelly who left Schroders’ IFA sales team after a decade’s service in June, together with Nick Chaitow and Richard Smith, will help Bordier grow the relationships with investment intermediaries, lawyers and accountants as well as providers.

He will report to Bordier director of commercial activities David Muncaster.

Bordier UK chief executive Jamie MacLeod says: “It is our continuing success for our clients and introducers which enables us to attract market-leading talent of Paul’s calibre, and this latest appointment underlines our commitment to the UK advisory space.

“Paul is a well-known figure in the intermediary world and we expect him to play a leading role, building on the firm bedrock of our existing intermediary partnerships, and our ongoing efforts to exceed the expectations of both clients and introducers.”

Recently Baring Asset Management hired former Schroders sales manager Simon Jagger as its head of UK wholesale.
