Aviva makes further hires to investment team

Aviva appoints multi-asset strategists to its investment team.

Business-Handshake-General-Hire-Appointment-700x450.jpgAviva Investors has made further hires to its investment team responsible for the Aviva Investors Multi Strategy (AIMS) fund range.

Ahmed Behdenna and Marc Semaan have both been appointed multi-asset strategists.

Behdenna is responsible for generating investment ideas and working with other strategists and fund managers across Aviva Investors. He joins from Societe Generale, where he was a senior strategist within the multi-asset research team.

Semaan’s role entails providing cross-market macro strategy ideas in rates and currencies. He joins from Friends Life Investments, where he was a macro strategist and developed a global macro research structure to support the fixed income teams.

The global asset management business of Aviva recently appointed Michael Grady to the team as senior economist and strategist.
