Ashburton hires Smith & Williamson partner as head of UK wholesale

General-Business-People-Hire-Appointment-700x450.jpgAshburton Investments has appointed Matthew Kemp as head of its UK wholesale distribution team.

Kemp will focus on the distribution of the firm’s Ucits Luxembourg Sicav into the UK including the range of multi-asset funds and a selection of emerging markets and frontier markets equity and fixed income funds.

Before joining the firm, Kemp was a partner at Smith & Williamson Investment Management from February 2010. Before that, he was investment director at Standard Life Investments from 2006.
