Ashburton boosts multi-asset team with trio of hires

Mark Melehes joined as a cross-asset strategist in April while Jianzhong ‘Jack’ Ren and Samed Hysa have been appointed as fixed income analyst and macro analyst respectively.

Melehes, Ren and Hysa are tasked with developing Ashburton’s multi-asset offering, which has been running for more than 30 years.

Ren will be responsible for fixed income and macro analysis in developed, emerging and frontier markets and Hysa will analyse developed and emerging market economies on a macro and cross-asset basis as well as developing broader macro and thematic research for team.

Melehes was previously head of trading at SEIA Capital Management, while Ren joins from Caxton Associates and Hysa had internships at HSBC and BlackRock.
