At the multi-manager investment company Lowcock will help the firm’s relationship and communications with advisers, clients and the media.

Lowcock has been at Axa Wealth for two years. Before that, he was senior investment manager at Hargreaves Lansdown from 2012 to 2014. He has also held roles at Bestinvest and NatWest Stockbrokers.

Head of UK funds at Architas Cedric Bucher says: “The recent fallout from the EU referendum shows the need for clear and concise communications. It is at times like this when clients look to advisers and the asset management industry to help them navigate the volatile environment.

“We are determined to work closely with our adviser clients in good times and bad. Adrian will help us do this and ensure we are talking in a clear and consumer friendly voice at all times.”

Lowcock says:“In the last few years there has been recognition across the investment services industry that we need to improve communications with investors.

“Architas have been at the forefront of this change and recognise the need to provide investors with information as well as their views on markets without always promoting a product. I look forward to taking on this new role with Architas and once more helping investors make informed and educated decisions.”

This week, former head of IFA sales at Schroders Steve Jackson also joined Architas to take up the new role of key accounts director in September. He joined from Seneca Investment Managers.

Architas has also recently hired Barclays’ multi-manager and alternatives CIO Jaime Arguello as its new CIO to replace Caspar Rock, who left to join Cazenove.
