L&G increases tracker expenses
Legal & General (L&G) confirmed today that the total expense ratio (TER) for its UK index tracker fund from October will increase.
L&G says the TER will increase from 0.53% to 0.55%. The increase will come about because the registration fee, which is included in the calculation, will be calculated in a different way.
The registration fee is currently divided equally by numbers of unit holders. From October onwards the charge will be based on the amount of holdings in the fund.
