Aviva hires Lake to run High Yield Bond fund

Andrew Lake has joined Aviva Investors to take on the management of the group’s High Yield Bond fund.

Chris Higham had previously been running both the High Yield Bond and the Corporate Bond fund on an interim basis. He will now take on the lead management of the Corporate Bond fund.
Lake joins the credit team from F&C where he co-managed European and global high yield portfolios.
Higham joined Aviva in 2007 from Old Mutual and has managed the Strategic Bond fund since its launch in 2008. (article continues below)
Meanwhile James Vokins has been appointed manager of the Monthly Income Plus fund. He joined the group in 2005 and then worked as an investment analyst before taking on several investment grade institutional funds in 2008.
