GDP in OECD falls to all-time low

GDP in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) area suffered its largest fall since records began in 1960 in the fourth quarter of 2008. According to preliminary estimates, GDP in the OECD fell by 1.5% in the fourth quarter compared with the third quarter of 2008.In America GDP fell by 1%, in Britain it fell 1.5%, while in Japan the decline was more pronounced with GDP down 3.3%.
